2019 Compensation and Benefits Report Released

AFP's latest Compensation and Benefits Report shows fundraising salaries continuing to increase in 2019, with most fundraisers satisfied with their position.

Strong Fundraising Continues Through 2018

Three-quarters (73 percent) of surveyed charitable nonprofits reported meeting their fundraising goals for 2018, according to a new report from the Nonprofit Research Collaborative (NRC), a coalition co-founded by AFP. Sixty-three percent of organizations reported raising more in total than the previous year.

Giving Reaches New Peak Again, But Growth Slows Dramatically

Charitable giving in the U.S. reached an estimated $427.71 billion in 2018, according to Giving USA 2019: The Annual Report on Philanthropy for the Year 2018, but grew by just 0.7 percent from 2017—and adjusted for inflation, total giving declined 1.7%.
