Director, Content and Strategy
Working with the entire Marketing and Communications Department, this position is responsible for both the strategy and planning, and then implementation and management, of AFP’s content and publishing initiatives, and ensures content is timely, relevant, valuable and on-brand. These initiatives include AFP’s Advancing Philanthropy magazine (both print and digital), columns, blogs, books, research reports and briefs, content anthologies and newsletters. This position also writes and edits a variety of AFP materials, including grant proposals, speeches, website and social media content, online newsletters, correspondence, and other items for various audiences.
Director Business Development
This position will provide strategic direction and hands-on management for AFP business development programs and initiatives including display advertising, event sponsorships and exhibits, recruitment advertising, and licensing of AFP education programs and publications content. Owns responsibility for achievement of sales targets and revenue goals.
