AFP seeks an engaging, creative, self-motivated individual to join our Marketing team. The Marketing Coordinator is a key member specifically positioned to assist in executing tactical marketing objectives, email communications, marketing content, and organizing processes. This position works closely with the Senior Director, Marketing and Brand Management, and Vice President, Marketing, Communications and Public Policy, to implement a marketing strategy to 30,000+ members and beyond.
Director of Magazine & Publishing Content
You will ensure the successful planning, implementation, and management of AFP publishing and content initiatives including the Advancing Philanthropy magazine, AP Perspectives columns, books, research reports and briefs, and content anthologies. Manage all aspects of Advancing Philanthropy, AFP’s quarterly membership magazine, in its print and digital formats. Contribute to AFP’s long-term vision to create a richer and more vibrant Advancing Philanthropy website experience. Write and edit materials for a variety of AFP purposes, including potentially grant proposals, speeches, website and social media content, online newsletters, correspondence, and other items for various audiences.
Director Business Development
This position will provide strategic direction and hands-on management for AFP business development programs and initiatives including display advertising, event sponsorships and exhibits, recruitment advertising, and licensing of AFP education programs and publications content. Owns responsibility for achievement of sales targets and revenue goals.
