Pati Greenwood, MBA, CFRE

Pati Greenwood, MBA, CFRE, currently works as a Senior Consultant with KCI Philanthropy amongst Canada’s leading consultants to the non-profit sector.   A strategic thinker and collaborator, Pati develops and leads future-oriented strategies to expand and scale the impact of charitable organizations. With more than 30 years’ experience in the charitable sector, Pati has a wealth of experience and expertise generating revenue and increasing support bases for national and local charities. As a teacher & coach Pati delivers academic learning, workshops and professional expertise.

In her tenure as President and CEO of Merry Go Round Children’s Foundation, Pati led the organization through its first comprehensive evaluation of the signature Kids, Cops & Computer program and the development of a five-year strategic plan to guide Merry Go-Round’s long-term vision of a pan-Canadian program expansion.

As Vice-President and Chief Advancement Officer at Women’s College Hospital Foundation, Pati led the fundraising effort to complete and exceed it’s $70 million capital campaign to rebuild the hospital.

Prior positions have included Vice-President, Development at Pathways to Education Canada, Executive Vice-President, Philanthropy and Vice-President Development, McMaster Children’s Hospital at Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation. Additionally, Pati has worked with the YMCA of Hamilton/Burlington as Vice-President Development and Communications, as well as several other health-related organizations.  

A graduate of the Ivey School of Business at Western University Pati earned her MBA in 2014. She is also a graduate of Humber College achieving an honors diploma in Public Relations. It was at Humber that Pati first discovered her passion for the philanthropic sector and embarked on her life-long profession advancing social good.

Pati achieved Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE) status in 2004, a certification indicating the highest standards of competence and ethical practice in philanthropy. An active member of Association of Fundraising Professionals, Pati currently serves in volunteer roles locally, nationally and internationally including the organization’s global Board of Directors. 

Pati is a professor with the Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education at Ryerson University serving as a sessional instructor in the Fundraising Management Program.
