CAF America Makes $4,000 Grant to Encourage Participation in the ACFRE Program

The ACFRE Board and AFP have been given a grant to encourage participation in the Advanced Certified Fundraising Executive (ACFRE) program.

Ted Hart, ACFRE, CAP, president and CEO of CAF-America, established the CAF America International Executive Encouragement Fund at ACFRE to support candidates completing the program. Any ACFRE candidate who successfully completes the application phase of the ACFRE process is eligible to ask the ACFRE Board to waive the fee for any ensuing phases (portfolio, written and/or oral exam). Retake fees for any stage are the responsibility of the candidate.

“By encouraging the next generation, this grant furthers CAF America’s mission to enable advisors to best serve their clients’ philanthropic goals,” said Hart.

Funds will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis until the $4,000 limit is reached. The grant will expire on December 2, 2020.

“The ACFRE Board and AFP thank Ted and CAF America for strengthening AFP professional development with this generous grant,” said Scott Fortnum, ACFRE, chair of the ACFRE Board.
