Thriving in a Chaotic Future

Futurist Jamais Cascio will help AFP frame the future, so we can be more future-ready and more able to make our preferred futures possible. Jamais will introduce the BANI Future: Brittle, Anxious, Nonlinear, Incomprehensible—and he will show us how to flip it positive by being Bendable, Attentive, Neuorflexible, and Interconnected. The future will be increasingly chaotic, but we can thrive if we frame the future accurately and spark better possibilities.

Adrianna O’Donnell

Adrianna O’Donnell, MBA, CFRE, is Chief Growth Officer at Chicano Federation, where she leads fundraising, communications, and strategic partnerships to advance equity and opportunity. With more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit leadership across the East Coast, Hawai‘i, and San Diego, she is known for building authentic relationships and connecting resources to communities that have been historically underinvested. An immigrant from Colombia and first-generation college graduate, Adrianna brings a community-centered and culturally grounded perspective to her work. She holds an MBA from Chaminade University of Honolulu and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE).
