The Executive Assistant is a key member of the AFP executive team. The Executive Assistant will primarily support the CEO, and, on occasion, the COS (Chief of Staff) and Strategy Group (the executive team). The Executive Assistant works independently within the full range of administrative responsibilities and collaborates with all levels of employees and volunteers.
Senior Director of Membership
The Senior Director of Membership will be expected to deeply understand the purpose and value of being an AFP member, and the positive outcomes of being a member. This includes the understanding the membership experience. Works collaboratively across the organization to develop marketplace and member-focused strategies for achieving membership and program growth. Key responsibilities include serving as a champion to show value and retain current AFP members while attracting new members. In addition to implementing membership initiatives, the Senior Director will manage the AFP internal membership support staff, and external vendor relationships with BrightKey and others.
Head of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (IDEA)
The Head of Global IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access) develops, in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, the strategic direction for AFP’s IDEA commitment. The Head of Global IDEA is responsible for conceptualizing, executing, implementing, and measuring the success of IDEA principles and practices across the entire organization, including but not limited to: IDEA programs and initiatives. The Head of Global Idea has a unique opportunity to build an IDEA department with support from the CEO, while leading strategy and implementation across all departments.
Manager of Communications and Public Relations
AFP seeks an engaging, creative, and self-motivated individual to join our Communications team and help manage the strategy, planning, scheduling and implementation of AFP’s external communications, public relations initiatives and public policy programs for the association’s 26,000+ members. Working closely with the Vice President of Marketing and Communications and other staff, this position ensures that AFP’s external-facing content—which includes materials such as press releases, as well as programs such as awards, Ethics Awareness Month and National Philanthropy Day—is timely, relevant, valuable and on-brand.
Professional Development Manager
The Professional Development Manager will drive continuous learning and improvement through organizational needs assessment, design, implementation, and evaluation of professional development programs to drive high performance, and enhance the knowledge, skills, and capabilities of education programs for AFP’s members.
