Thriving in a Chaotic Future

Futurist Jamais Cascio will help AFP frame the future, so we can be more future-ready and more able to make our preferred futures possible. Jamais will introduce the BANI Future: Brittle, Anxious, Nonlinear, Incomprehensible—and he will show us how to flip it positive by being Bendable, Attentive, Neuorflexible, and Interconnected. The future will be increasingly chaotic, but we can thrive if we frame the future accurately and spark better possibilities.

Serving as the Executive Director at Colorado River Alliance, Adrienne drives the organization’s strategic growth, partnership development, and leads the talented and dedicated staff team. Adrienne Longenecker has led an impressive career as a creative problem solver, visionary executive, and relationship steward in the nonprofit and for-profit fields, in addition to her time as a professional dancer.

A passionate community servant well-known for vision, creativity, and consensus building, Adrienne volunteers as Chair-Elect for the Board of Directors of the Global Association of Fundraising Professionals.
