Thriving in a Chaotic Future

Futurist Jamais Cascio will help AFP frame the future, so we can be more future-ready and more able to make our preferred futures possible. Jamais will introduce the BANI Future: Brittle, Anxious, Nonlinear, Incomprehensible—and he will show us how to flip it positive by being Bendable, Attentive, Neuorflexible, and Interconnected. The future will be increasingly chaotic, but we can thrive if we frame the future accurately and spark better possibilities.

Alia Lundy

Alia brings seven years of museum development experience, with past roles at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and Museum of the African Diaspora. She joined The Contemporary Jewish Museum in August 2023 and transitioned into frontline fundraising as Major Gifts Officer to support The CJM’s during their sabbatical. She has a bachelor of arts degree in Communication Studies and a minor in Museum Studies. She is passionate about art, museums, and fundraising and committed to providing her expertise in donor engagement and major gifts to support art organizations and museums like The CJM.
