Thriving in a Chaotic Future

Futurist Jamais Cascio will help AFP frame the future, so we can be more future-ready and more able to make our preferred futures possible. Jamais will introduce the BANI Future: Brittle, Anxious, Nonlinear, Incomprehensible—and he will show us how to flip it positive by being Bendable, Attentive, Neuorflexible, and Interconnected. The future will be increasingly chaotic, but we can thrive if we frame the future accurately and spark better possibilities.

Allison Quintanilla Plattsmier

Dr. Allison Quintanilla Plattsmier has fifteen years of experience in the nonprofit sector and has collectively raised approximately $5 million for over 75 organizations. She currently serves as CEO of ENP and runs her own nonprofit consulting firm, AQP Consulting, where she helps grassroots nonprofits with fundraising strategy, strategic planning, board development, and grant writing. She has received accolades such as AFP’s Outstanding Young Fundraising Professional, a Congressional Award Gold Medalist, NBJ’s 40 Under 40, and NBJ’s Women of Influence Nonprofit Leader.
