Thriving in a Chaotic Future

Futurist Jamais Cascio will help AFP frame the future, so we can be more future-ready and more able to make our preferred futures possible. Jamais will introduce the BANI Future: Brittle, Anxious, Nonlinear, Incomprehensible—and he will show us how to flip it positive by being Bendable, Attentive, Neuorflexible, and Interconnected. The future will be increasingly chaotic, but we can thrive if we frame the future accurately and spark better possibilities.

Amparo Jardine

Amparo Jardine has held various leadership roles in the non-profit sector, starting as an Associate Marketing Manager at the Heart and Stroke Foundation in 2007. Amparo progressed to roles like Manager of Philanthropic Direct Marketing and Director of Development at organizations like the Trans Canada Trail Foundation. Amparo's most recent position was as the Executive Director of Donor Response Marketing at Diabetes Canada, where they worked until the present.

Amparo Jardine attended the University of Toronto Scarborough where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree.
