Futurist Jamais Cascio will help AFP frame the future, so we can be more future-ready and more able to make our preferred futures possible. Jamais will introduce the BANI Future: Brittle, Anxious, Nonlinear, Incomprehensible—and he will show us how to flip it positive by being Bendable, Attentive, Neuorflexible, and Interconnected. The future will be increasingly chaotic, but we can thrive if we frame the future accurately and spark better possibilities.

Anthony Petchel

Anthony Petchel, MBA, CTP, CFRE, is the principal of Mission Trajectory Consulting and brings over 25 years of leadership experience in finance, fundraising, and strategic planning. He is an adjunct instructor at Portland State University, teaching finance and fund-development in the Masters of Public Administration program. Before transitioning to the nonprofit sector, Anthony spent over 16 years in commercial banking and finance. Anthony holds an MBA and degrees in Psychology and Sociology and has 30 years of nonprofit board service and is the current President of the Oregon SW Washington AFP chapter.
