Thriving in a Chaotic Future

Futurist Jamais Cascio will help AFP frame the future, so we can be more future-ready and more able to make our preferred futures possible. Jamais will introduce the BANI Future: Brittle, Anxious, Nonlinear, Incomprehensible—and he will show us how to flip it positive by being Bendable, Attentive, Neuorflexible, and Interconnected. The future will be increasingly chaotic, but we can thrive if we frame the future accurately and spark better possibilities.

Ashutosh Nandeshwar

Dr. Ashutosh Nandeshwar is a leader in creating effective systems and processes with tools and technology. Educated in systems engineering, artificial intelligence, and design thinking, he has built solutions to improve fundraising results at the world’s top higher education institutions. He has written multiple books, including co-authoring “Data Science for Fundraising.” Ashutosh earned his Ph.D. and MS in Industrial Engineering, specializing in machine learning, and an MS in design thinking. He loves speaking about the power of data and has given keynotes at national conferences. He is an active member of various professional organizations, including a term on Apra’s board.
