Thriving in a Chaotic Future

Futurist Jamais Cascio will help AFP frame the future, so we can be more future-ready and more able to make our preferred futures possible. Jamais will introduce the BANI Future: Brittle, Anxious, Nonlinear, Incomprehensible—and he will show us how to flip it positive by being Bendable, Attentive, Neuorflexible, and Interconnected. The future will be increasingly chaotic, but we can thrive if we frame the future accurately and spark better possibilities.

Clay Buck

With over 30 years of experience in nonprofit leadership and fundraising, T. Clay Buck is the Founder & Principal of Next River Fundraising Strategies, a consultancy focused on individual giving, strategy, systems, and storytelling. He also teaches fundraising and strategic planning at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and is the co-host of the #1 ranked fundraising podcast, Fundraising is Funny. Clay holds a BA from the University of Georgia and a Master of Fine Arts from Michigan State University. He is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), as well as a Master Trainer and Coach.
