Thriving in a Chaotic Future

Futurist Jamais Cascio will help AFP frame the future, so we can be more future-ready and more able to make our preferred futures possible. Jamais will introduce the BANI Future: Brittle, Anxious, Nonlinear, Incomprehensible—and he will show us how to flip it positive by being Bendable, Attentive, Neuorflexible, and Interconnected. The future will be increasingly chaotic, but we can thrive if we frame the future accurately and spark better possibilities.

Dzenan Berberovic

Dzenan Berberovic is dedicated to improving lives. Born in Bosnia, his early experiences shaped his path. After six years as a refugee in Germany, he immigrated to the United States with his mother at age nine. Inspired by an act of generosity, he found his calling in philanthropy. He now serves as Chief Development Officer and Foundation President at Avera Health, supporting care across more than 300 sites. He previously held leadership roles at the University of South Dakota. Recognized by multiple national organizations, he holds a graduate degree in philanthropy and is active in board service. He lives in
