Thriving in a Chaotic Future

Futurist Jamais Cascio will help AFP frame the future, so we can be more future-ready and more able to make our preferred futures possible. Jamais will introduce the BANI Future: Brittle, Anxious, Nonlinear, Incomprehensible—and he will show us how to flip it positive by being Bendable, Attentive, Neuorflexible, and Interconnected. The future will be increasingly chaotic, but we can thrive if we frame the future accurately and spark better possibilities.

Elad Dvash-Banks

Elad was born in Tel Aviv, Israel and has always been passionate about new cultures, places, and languages. His career has taken him from working with students in the Jewish non-profit sector to working in an international organization developing strategies and building stakeholder relations to combat money laundering and the financing of terrorism. In 2017, Elad joined IKAR, a leading edge Jewish community that seeks to inspire people across the religious spectrum. He serves Chief Advancement officer, leading philanthropic outreach, including annual, event, and campaign fundraising, including the foundational $60M campaign to build the IKAR Center in Los Angeles.
