Thriving in a Chaotic Future

Futurist Jamais Cascio will help AFP frame the future, so we can be more future-ready and more able to make our preferred futures possible. Jamais will introduce the BANI Future: Brittle, Anxious, Nonlinear, Incomprehensible—and he will show us how to flip it positive by being Bendable, Attentive, Neuorflexible, and Interconnected. The future will be increasingly chaotic, but we can thrive if we frame the future accurately and spark better possibilities.

Jamie Leon-Guerrero

Jamie Leon-Guerrero is the Development Director at Greater Tucson Leadership, where she leads fundraising, marketing, and alumni engagement. Since joining GTL in 2022, she has strengthened sponsorships and community support while advancing leadership programming. Jamie holds a Social Media Marketing Specialization from Northwestern University and is pursuing her CFRE certification and studies in Social Services at Pima College. Vice-Chair of the APIDA Fund, co-host of Lead Where You Live - Tucson Voices In Leadership podcast, AFP Leadership Institute Cohort 3 fellow, she has been recognized with the 2016 “Voice of Courage” Award and a 2020 national nomination for victims’ rights.
