Futurist Jamais Cascio will help AFP frame the future, so we can be more future-ready and more able to make our preferred futures possible. Jamais will introduce the BANI Future: Brittle, Anxious, Nonlinear, Incomprehensible—and he will show us how to flip it positive by being Bendable, Attentive, Neuorflexible, and Interconnected. The future will be increasingly chaotic, but we can thrive if we frame the future accurately and spark better possibilities.

Janet Johnson, is Chief Development Officer, at One Vision, a nonprofit supporting people with disabilities. Since joining three years ago, she has rebuilt the development team, reengaged donors, and significantly expanded the organization’s donor base—all post COVID. With her leadership, board giving has increased to 100% with the board actively inspiring a renewed culture of philanthropy. With decades of experience in relationship-building and strategic communications from prior roles in publishing and advertising, Janet brings a strategic, mission-driven approach to fundraising. Her passion for One Vision’s mission fuels her commitment to growing support that empowers people to live their best lives.
