Futurist Jamais Cascio will help AFP frame the future, so we can be more future-ready and more able to make our preferred futures possible. Jamais will introduce the BANI Future: Brittle, Anxious, Nonlinear, Incomprehensible—and he will show us how to flip it positive by being Bendable, Attentive, Neuorflexible, and Interconnected. The future will be increasingly chaotic, but we can thrive if we frame the future accurately and spark better possibilities.

Jon Thompson

Jon Thompson is the Associate Vice President of Philanthropic Strategy & Technology at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Listed as one of the Top 50 by The NonProfit Times, and his work has won numerous awards including a Gold ADDY and a Gold OMNI. Over his career, Jon has pioneered the use of Internet of Things digital signage, multi source attribution modeling, psychographic ad targeting, machine learning and AI in marketing automation, and the use of augmented and virtual reality to aid in major giving. He is also a co inventor on several patents related to probabilistic identity resolution.
