Thriving in a Chaotic Future

Futurist Jamais Cascio will help AFP frame the future, so we can be more future-ready and more able to make our preferred futures possible. Jamais will introduce the BANI Future: Brittle, Anxious, Nonlinear, Incomprehensible—and he will show us how to flip it positive by being Bendable, Attentive, Neuorflexible, and Interconnected. The future will be increasingly chaotic, but we can thrive if we frame the future accurately and spark better possibilities.

Nathaniel Holic

Nathaniel Holic is a membership and engagement professional with experience in association management, data-driven strategy, and member experience. He currently serves as Membership Manager at the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP Global), where he leads recruitment and retention initiatives, membership marketing campaigns, and trend analysis to support organizational growth and success. Previously at BOMA International, he managed meetings, registration, sponsorships, and AMS reporting for thousands of members. A PCMA “20 in Their 20s” honoree, Nathaniel also volunteers with PCMA Capital Chapter to support emerging professional engagement and retention initiatives.
