National Philanthropy Day is a special day we celebrate to recognize the extraordinary impact of philanthropy in the world around us. This day honors those who believe that making the world a better place starts with philanthropy in the community. National Philanthropy Day offers an opportunity to reflect on the meaning of giving and celebrates the daily contributions individuals and organizations make to the causes that are most special to us.

As one of the most charitable states in the U.S., the Alabama Chapter of AFP recognizes and celebrates the individuals, organizations, and businesses across our state who generously give their time, talents, and resources to our community.
