AFP FL, Space Coast Chapter Event: National Philanthropy Day Educational Event

The AFP Space Coast Chapter invites you to join us on Friday, November 16, 2018, as we celebrate National Philanthropy Day and host a special educational event with guest speaker:

Mark Brewer, President/CEO
Central Florida Foundation

Mark is a very well-respected presenter; more than 200 regional nonprofit boards have enlisted Mark's assistance through the Central Florida Foundation with strategic and scenario planning initiatives that include the use of endowed investments to sustain their organizations. He is a well-known national speaker on independent sector strategies, the role of philanthropy in democracy, venture philanthropy, the role of the independent sector in public policy, impact investing, and social enterprise.

You will also hear from a panel of local philanthropists who will discuss their perspectives on philanthropy in a facilitated session by Beverly Sanders, CFRE. To date, our panelists include: Jill Simpkins from the Simpkins Family Foundation, Dan Balda from the Balda Family Foundation and Theresa Grimison from the Community Foundation for Brevard.

Registration and networking begins at 8:00 am. The program begins at 8:30 am and concludes at 1:30 pm.
