AFP SC, Lowcountry Chapter Event: National Philanthropy Day 2024

For more than 20 years, the South Carolina Lowcountry Chapter has gathered on National Philanthropy Day to honor remarkable achievements by local individuals, foundations, and corporate philanthropists who work in collaboration with nonprofit organizations. Come join us as we gather to honor the dynamic philanthropic community that has formed to impact every part of the Lowcountry. 

Participants can choose from various ways to celebrate our philanthropic community this year. We'll kick off the day with an educational program, focusing on donor retention at a higher level and how a retention strategy can increase or lead to major gifts. We have a great volunteer opportunity available just before our awards event, and we will finish the day celebrating outstanding Lowcountry philanthropists and fundraisers with a reception.

• 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. - Educational Programming: Sustaining Your Mission: Proven Strategies to Retain Donors and Strengthen Fundraising
• 4:30 p.m. - Volunteer Opportunity: Join us before the awards celebration to help create enrichment toys for the Charleston Animal Society.
• 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. - Cocktail Celebration & Awards Ceremony
