Throughout the month of November, the Association of Fundraising Professionals will be highlighting honorees from National Philanthropy Day chapter events around the world, showcasing outstanding donors, volunteers, corporations, foundations and others who are being recognized for their commitment to change and philanthropy.

Today we’re showcasing Janos Wilder, Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser, honored by the AFP Southern Arizona Chapter.

Janos, an acclaimed restaurateur in Arizona, was nominated by the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona. He has been a longstanding supporter of diverse, philanthropic causes local to Southern Arizona, including food banks, along with the Primvara Foundation, Tu Nidito, Fox Tucson Theatre, and the Children’s Museum Tucson.
