AFP ICON 2026 Chapter Party

Step up to the plate for the ultimate baseball experience at the beautiful Petco Park as the Padres take on the Chicago Cubs! Enjoy the game in style from the Western Metal Supply Co., a private, newly renovated rooftop suite. Soak in the panoramic views, nosh on ballpark favorites, cheer on a team and enjoy an exclusive evening at one of America’s most beautiful MLB stadiums!

Take Me Out to the Ballgame will be held on Monday, April 27, 2026, starting at 6:00 PM local time, at Petco Park atop the Western Metal Supply Building. Ballpark-favorite food and beverages will be included (both alcoholic and alcohol-free options). Attendees will be able to see the Padres vs. Cubs game from the rooftop or from our seats in the park.

For those who purchased a Take Me Out to the Ballgame ticket through AFP ICON conference registration:

1. Your Take Me Out to the Ballgame voucher will print along with your name badge when you check-in on-site at AFP ICON Registration in the San Diego Convention Center.
2. Before 3:00 PM (PT) on Monday, bring your voucher to the AFP San Diego Chapter table near the AFP ICON Registration area, and exchange it for an official Chicago Cubs vs. San Diego Padres game ticket for Monday, April 27. If you do not trade in your voucher for a game ticket by 3:00 PM (PT) on Monday, you are not guaranteed a ticket to the game.*
3. Do not lose your game ticket as it cannot be replaced!
4. Please be mindful of stadium policies; our event is not excepted from Petco Park policies including the Bags/Backpacks policy.
5. Go to Petco Park, and follow directions to the Western Metal Supply Co. Building rooftop suite. The section is located beyond the left field foul pole, with the Gaslamp Gate being the nearest entrance gate. The Take Me Out to the Ballgame event begins at 6:00 PM (PT) and first pitch is at 6:40 PM (PT).
   
   *After Monday at 3:00 PM (PT), tickets will be transferred to the Homeplate Gate Box Office at Petco Park, located off of Trevor Hoffman Way, at Ticket Window 17. Tickets will be available there from 5:00-6:40 PM (PT). Click the FAQ PDF link at the bottom of this page for more information. 

For those who purchased a Take Me Out to the Ballgame ticket through the AFP San Diego Chapter: 

1. Please visit the AFP San Diego Chapter table near the AFP ICON Registration area in the San Diego Convention Center, before 3:00 PM (PT) on Monday, to get your official Chicago Cubs vs. San Diego Padres game ticket for Monday, April 27. If you do not pick up your game ticket by 3:00 PM (PT) on Monday, you are not guaranteed a ticket to the game.*
