Dr. David Hutchison serves as Chief Development Officer for St. Louis Public Radio, where he leads fundraising strategy, major gifts, membership, and donor engagement as the station transitions to independence as a nonprofit. He joined during a period of significant uncertainty for public media and has helped guide philanthropic growth while strengthening long-term revenue sustainability. Previously, he spent more than a decade in higher education advancement, most recently as VP for Advancement at Lyon College, where he led a comprehensive fundraising campaign supporting major institutional initiatives. His work focuses on ethical leadership, mission-driven fundraising, and organizational resilience during institutional change.
