AFP LEAD is AFP’s annual leadership conference, bringing together over 400 fundraising professionals for three days of dynamic education, strategic conversation, and professional growth. Designed for current and emerging leaders alike, AFP LEAD offers over 50 education sessions and and opportunities to build lasting connections with peers from around the world.
Sessions explore topics such as ethical and inclusive leadership, talent retention and well-being, strategic thinking, and building confidence and resilience as a leader, equipping participants with tools they can apply immediately, at any level of their organization.
AFP LEAD 2026 will be held October 22–24 at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans in New Orleans, Louisiana.
AFP LEAD is designed for fundraising professionals who are stepping into leadership, growing their influence, or leading teams and organizations, whether or not leadership is part of their formal title. From emerging leaders to experienced managers and executives, attendees come from organizations of all sizes and missions to gain practical insights, strengthen their skills, and connect with peers navigating similar leadership challenges.
