National Philanthropy Day Highlight: Cincinnati Youth Collaborative
Throughout the month of November, the Association of Fundraising Professionals will be highlighting honorees from National Philanthropy Day chapter events around the world, showcasing outstanding donors, volunteers, corporations, foundations and others who are being recognized for their commitment to change and philanthropy.
Today, we’re featuring the AFP Greater Cincinnati Chapter that is honoring the Cincinnati Youth Collaborative with the 2019 Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy Award for their Jobs for Cincinnati Graduates Program (JCG).
The JCG program focuses on providing social and work skills to middle and high school students to assist in the transition from education to career. JCG equips students with 37 core competencies that prepare them for post-secondary pursuits, whether that be enrollment, employment, or enlistment. It is through their continued efforts to help the youth in their community that makes the Cincinnati youth Collaborative nothing short of outstanding.
The AFP Greater Cincinnati Chapter will be hosting a National Philanthropy Day event and honoring the Cincinnati Youth Collaborative on Thursday, November 7, 2019, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Cincinnati Music Hall. For more information regarding the chapter and the event, please click here.
