2025 AFP in Canada Leadership Retreat
Each year, AFP leaders from across Canada gather to discuss important topics facing the fundraising profession. The retreat offers an opportunity to dive into current and potential challenges that the fundraising profession faces in Canada. (If you are a new AFP leader, please note that the retreat is not a chapter management workshop. Those sessions are offered by the AFP Global chapter engagement team.)
At the retreat, we strive to create a welcoming event where all attendees feel they can contribute, to create a fun and inclusive space, and to provide valuable updates, information and context on AFP entities and activities.
Who? Who should attend this event? Board members from Canadian chapters, AFP Canada and the AFP Foundation for Philanthropy – Canada, volunteers from Canada serving on national and international committees, and volunteers from the host chapter are invited to attend.
What? What will we do? We will discuss a number of important topics for our profession in Canada.
Where? The retreat meetings will take place at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights (85 Israel Asper Way) in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
