1. Designate a dedicated federal secretariat for the charitable sector in Canada.
2. Allocate funding to Statistics Canada annually for the purpose of collecting, analyzing and disseminating comprehensive data about the nonprofit sector, which includes the charitable sector. (Learn more by reading our pre-budget submission.)
National Philanthropy Day®, officially November 15 every year, pays tribute to the extraordinary contribution that those involved in the philanthropic process have made to our communities.
