The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Canada, the largest community of fundraising professionals in the country, is pleased to announce that its partnership with DonorPerfect Canada will continue in 2022.

This past year, AFP members in Canada benefited from DonorPerfect’s fundraising expertise and resources. In addition to suggestions for overcoming the fear of fundraising during COVID-19, members had access to industry insights on giving growth, ideas for virtual events, the ever-popular GivingTuesday template kit, and among many other resources.

“We are excited to continue our partnership with DonorPerfect Canada,” said Ken Mayhew, chair of AFP Canada. “Their expertise in the charitable and nonprofit sector is valued by our members. We appreciate having partners who understand the challenges brought on by the pandemic.”

AFP Canada, a nonprofit formed in 2017, was created to bring a Canadian perspective to AFP’s government relations and communications. As part of the broader AFP Global network, AFP Canada serves as the voice of the fundraising profession representing 3,200 leaders working in causes and missions from coast to coast to coast.

DonorPerfect Canada, the Canadian arm of the top-rated DonorPerfect fundraising solution, has been developing and supporting software that is easy to learn, easy to use, and tailored to users’ unique needs since 1981. The company meets the fundraising and donor management needs of over 10,000 nonprofit organizations and 52,000 users every day.

DonorPerfect and AFP Global already enjoy a partnership together focused on AFP ICON (the largest conference of fundraising professionals in the world, scheduled for May 2-4, 2022), AFP IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Access), and the sharing of resources and expertise.

“We are thrilled to continue our partnership with AFP Canada by offering benefits to Canadian members,” said Laurence Morel, director for DonorPerfect Canada. “Supporting the fundraising profession is at the heart of what we do. Ultimately, we strive to help fundraisers generate more money for worthy causes.”

AFP members can look forward to receiving the free guides, webinars and other valuable content from DonorPerfect through the AFP Daily newsletter that is distributed to Canadians on Thursdays, as well as through sponsored emails.
