AFP Canada Announces Partnership with Sage
(Ottawa, Ontario) The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Canada, the largest community of fundraising professionals in the country, has announced a new partnership with Sage, the market leader in cloud business management solutions.
Beginning in February, AFP Canada and Sage will work together to share financial and accounting resources with AFP members. Through this partnership, members in Canada will have access to Sage Intacct resources, such as best practices for data-driven nonprofit finance leaders, key outcome measurements to help organizations thrive, whitepapers and case studies.
Sage is the global market leader for technology that helps small and medium businesses perform at their best, trusted by millions of customers worldwide to deliver the best cloud technology and support. Its financial management and accounting platform, Sage Intacct, enables nonprofit professionals to pursue their missions with greater efficiency, and helps their organizations achieve faster financial closings and real-time analytics.
“We are very excited to be partnering with Sage,” said Paula Attfield, chair of AFP Canada. “As we head into the Decade of Fundraising Leadership, skills like finance, accounting and others are crucial as we develop fundraisers to become the next leaders of Canada’s nonprofit sector. The resources that the company can provide, and its commitment to the nonprofit sector, makes Sage a great partner for AFP.”
AFP Canada, a nonprofit formed in 2017, represents more than 3,700 fundraisers across the country working to support causes and missions that help Canadians from coast to coast. The organization serves as the national, bilingual voice for the fundraising profession in Canada and is part of the larger AFP Global network, the largest community of fundraisers in the world.
“At Sage, we believe in doing all that we can to help people, organizations, and communities be the best they can be. This exciting partnership with AFP Canada is a reflection of that commitment,” said Paul Struthers, EVP and managing director for Sage Canada. “We trust that the Sage Intacct resources to be shared with AFP Canada members will further strengthen the positive impacts they make day-to-day in their organizations and local communities.”
AFP members can look forward to learning from Sage’s expertise through the AFP Canada Daily newsletter and on social media.
