Canada Foundation Announces Spring 2020 Recipients of the National Scholarship Program
The AFP Foundation for Philanthropy – Canada is proud to announce that nine fundraising professionals have received scholarships to pursue key continuing education opportunities across North America.
Thanks to the support of the AFP Foundation for Philanthropy – Canada, almost $5,000 in funding was disbursed following the Foundation's recent call for scholarship applications. Criteria and guidelines can be reviewed here.
The recipients are:

- Hannah Sackville (AFP South Saskatchewan)
- Tammy Ebuen (AFP Greater Toronto)
- Nena Hawkes (AFP South Saskatchewan)
- Sarah Dowling (AFP Edmonton & Area)
- Whitney MacLean (AFP Nova Scotia)
- Kelley Cookson (AFP Central Ontario)
- Ryan Toomey (AFP Nova Scotia)
- Clara Bonnes (AFP Quebec)
Every year the National Scholarship program receives more than 100 applications from fundraising professionals seeking more than $80,000 in financial aid. However, we can only meet a small portion of this need – less than 25%!
