Today, we’re highlighting Karen and Sid DeBoer, Vollum Award for Lifetime Philanthropic Achievement recipients, honored by the AFP Oregon and Southwest Washington Chapter.

Nominated by the Oregon Community Foundation, Karen and Sid were nominated for their commitment to a community in which they’ve been a part of for quite some time. Supporting their local Shakespeare Festival, Oregon State University and their community’s YMCA camp with a complete re-build, the two are committed to change through their philanthropy and gifts of time and service.

The AFP Oregon and Southwest Washington Chapter hosted its National Philanthropy Day event and honored Karen and Sid on November 12, 2019. To learn more about the event and the honorees, please click here.
