AFP ICON/LEAD Blackbaud Development Fund Diversity Scholarship
Through a partnership with Blackbaud, the AFP Foundation for Philanthropy offers scholarships covering the full conference registration fee for ICON and LEAD. Scholarships are valid only for the specific upcoming occurrence of each event and may not be deferred to future years.
- Scholarship candidates must identify as a member of a marginalized community and have at least 1 year of experience as a fundraising professional.
- Only those who have never attended either AFP ICON or LEAD can apply.
- As a Blackbaud Diversity Scholar, you must consent to providing a testimonial to the AFP Foundation for Philanthropy about the impact of receiving the scholarship and agree that your name will be listed as a Blackbaud Scholar and shared with Blackbaud.
- The scholarship provides complimentary AFP ICON or LEAD registration.
The application for the AFP LEAD 2026 Scholarship is open from June 1, 2026 - July 17, 2026 until 11:45 p.m. ET.
