The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Canada, the largest community of fundraising professionals in the country, is pleased to announce that its partnership with iWave will continue in 2022.

This past year, AFP members in Canada benefited from iWave’s fundraising expertise and resources. In addition to learning about advanced wealth screening and how to jumpstart corporate fundraising, members had the opportunity to watch a webinar about adopting a data-driven approach to identifying prospects, and access many other fundraising resources.

“We are extremely grateful for iWave’s commitment to the fundraising profession,” said Ken Mayhew, chair of AFP Canada. “Their knowledge of our sector makes them a perfect partner for AFP Canada. We know our members will find value in what iWave has to share through our partnership.”

AFP Canada, a nonprofit formed in 2017, was created to bring a Canadian perspective to AFP’s government relations and communications. As part of the broader AFP Global network, AFP Canada serves as the voice of the fundraising profession representing 3,200 leaders working in causes and missions from coast to coast to coast.

iWave’s mission is to empower nonprofit organizations and help them as they make the world a better place. They offer comprehensive philanthropic, wealth and behavioral data to help nonprofit organizations learn more about current donors and discover new ones. Their innovative and responsive fundraising technology is a one-stop-shop for fundraising intelligence for nonprofit professionals.

Not only does iWave support AFP Canada, they are also a generous sponsor of AFP Global. Members can look forward to seeing them this May at AFP ICON (the largest conference of fundraising professionals in the world).

“We are thrilled to renew our partnership with AFP Canada,” said Jill McCarville, vice president of marketing at iWave. “As a Canadian-based company with clients throughout North America and the world, we are proud of our roots in this country. We are inspired daily by the amazing work being done by our clients so it means a great deal to us to give back through this partnership.”

AFP members can look forward to receiving the free guides, webinars and other valuable content from iWave through the AFP Daily newsletter that is distributed to Canadians on Thursdays, as well as through sponsored emails. All upcoming iWave webinars and resources are also available at iwave.com.
