The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Canada, the largest community of fundraising professionals in the country, is pleased to announce that DonorPerfect will continue to support the fundraising profession through its 2024 sponsorship of AFP Canada.

“AFP Canada is excited to continue our partnership with DonorPerfect Canada in 2024,” said Jennifer Johnstone, chair of AFP Canada. “Sponsorships provide funding that enables us to focus on bringing a Canadian perspective to AFP’s work in government relations and communications as well as important priorities such as Truth and Reconciliation.”

This sponsorship will provide AFP members in Canada with access to DonorPerfect tools and resources. In 2023, AFP members received fundraising expertise and resources such as the clean data checklist for nonprofits, a guide to using AI for nonprofits: the comprehensive guide to enhancing fundraising communications, the Fundraising Planner, and a guide and templates for emergency communications.

“We are proud to sponsor AFP Canada,” said Laurence Morel, executive director for DonorPerfect Canada. “Fundraisers make an incredibly important contribution to our country. Through our sponsorship of AFP Canada, we know that we are helping to support the fundraising profession in this country which means a lot to everyone at DonorPerfect.”

AFP Canada, formed in 2017, was created to bring a Canadian perspective to AFP’s government relations and communications as well as to focus on priorities such as on Truth and Reconciliation. As part of the broader AFP Global network, AFP Canada’s vision is to stimulate a world of generosity and positive social good through fundraising best practices. Our mission is to empower individuals and organizations to practice ethical fundraising through professional education, networking, research and advocacy.
