The AFP Foundation for Philanthropy champions philanthropy and volunteerism by developing the nonprofit sector’s current and future leaders, welcoming diverse new voices into the charitable world and rigorously upholding the highest standards of ethics.

The Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access (IDEA) Impact program is a phased, multi-year approach to create and implement initiatives focused on the needs of diverse communities.
Knowledge is power. and the Foundation is committed to conducting qualitative and quantitative research on the issues of highest concern to fundraising professionals and philanthropists.
The Foundation is committed to renewing public trust in nonprofit organizations through ethics training and resources, public awareness campaigns such as Ethics Awareness Month, and utilizing AFP’s Code of Ethical Standards.
