How do you drive across the country? One mile at a time! At the start of the year, it seems like there are miles and miles of wasteland between the present moment and reaching our fundraising goals.

Fundraising with FOCUS is a unique methodology that teaches nonprofit professionals the skills to write achievable goals – and then takes these goals and deconstructs them into small, single, achievable actions that lead toward successful goal achievement. This 90 minute interactive workshop takes you through the FOCUS methodology and includes opportunities to apply FOCUS to your own goals and have a clear plan in place at the end.

Presenter:

Kerry Toolan, MA, CSPG, is Principal of All Points Ahead Inc, a consulting firm that helps nonprofits navigate their future through consulting, coaching, interim leadership, and upleveling fundraising programs.

Throughout her 30+ year career, Kerry specialized in advancement and strategic leadership in both large organizations and smaller, two-person departments. Recognizing that the nonprofit sector operates at a relentlessly fast pace, she developed a comprehensive goal-setting process that kept her and her team’s fundraising priorities at the forefront and ensured continuous progress toward achieving their goals. Having raised millions of dollars for public and private education, the arts, museums, performing arts, and community organizations, Kerry takes the best practices from each of these sectors and customizes them to meet her clients’ needs. She is a proud alumna of CSU Northridge, received her Master’s degree from Claremont Graduate University, and her Certified Specialist in Planned Giving (CSPG) through the American Institute for Philanthropic Studies at CSU Long Beach. Kerry is an active member of AFP Orange County and her husband, John, is on the board of AFP Greater Los Angeles chapter.
