If you’re an executive director or development staffer in a small shop, there are a myriad of competencies you need to master for survival. This session, led by small shop veterans, will ensure you are introduced to the following essentials: non-profit financial management, human resources, a balanced development program; and managing the Board of Directors. This session will focus on practical knowledge and best practices, as well as provide a variety of samples, tools and resources that participants can put into action.
