Vincent Duckworth, BSc, CFRE is President & CEO of ViTreo Group Inc. Vincent founded ViTreo along with Andrea McManus and Scott Decksheimer in 2015. In 2020, he bought the company and over the last two years has grown ViTreo to a diverse team of 36 fundraising, communications, research, and social profit marketing professionals.

Vincent is a graduate of the University of Alberta with a degree in mechanical engineering. He has over 30 years’ experience in campaign strategy, major gift performance and philanthropic naming. Vincent is Canada’s leading authority on philanthropic naming and authored a chapter on the subject in Excellence in Fundraising in Canada: Volume Two. He was named the AFP Calgary and Area’s Outstanding Fundraising Professional in 2018. Vincent is the curator of the ViTreo Weekly News Recap and the host of the popular Braintrust Philanthropy podcast and the ViTreo Fundraising Ask Anything Zoom Chat series.

Vincent has been an AFP (and previously NSFRE) donor and volunteer since 1995. He has served as a chapter president (AFP Edmonton & Area) and as a chapter vice president (AFP Calgary & Area). Vincent chaired the inaugural AFP Banff Compass Conference and has served as a member and chair of many of AFP’s international awards committees. He served on AFP’s Committee on Directorship (now called the Nominating Committee) in 2005 and on AFP’s Conference Education Advisory Committee in 2009. Vincent joined the AFP Foundation for Philanthropy Canada board in 2015, served as Treasurer, and is currently Chair Elect for the Foundation with his two-year term beginning in January 2023.

ViTreo works with the non-profit sector to help them raise more money, build stronger brands, and develop leaders within their organization and on their governing boards. ViTreo has worked with over 300 non-profit partners and has helped them raise over $1 billion.

Vincent and his partner, Christine Fraser have three children (Jack, Ethan, Allison), two cats (Poppy, Sally), and a dog (Geneva).
