Daniel H. Lanteigne, CFRE, ASC, C.Dir., CHRP
Daniel H. Lanteigne has been a philanthropy professional for many years, having held mandates of Executive Director, development, talent management and communications before joining BNP Philanthropic Performance as Vice President, Talent, Strategy & Impact.
His complementary expertise enables him to adopt a holistic approach to governance, talent management and fund-raising that is both strategic and practical.
In recent years, Mr. Lanteigne has received several civilian honours, including the Quebec National Assembly Medal in 2021 and the Lieutenant-Governor's Medal for Exceptional Merit (Gold), in recognition of his "outstanding volunteer and philanthropic actions" in 2018.
Actively involved for many years with the Association of Fundraising Professionals, he serves as Chair of the Board for the Quebec chapter until December 31, 2023. He has participated in the Fellowship in Inclusion and Philanthropy and has been teaching the Fundamental of Fundraising Course since 2019.
Daniel H. Lanteigne participates in numerous forums as an author, speaker and trainer in the philanthropic sector. He is also a lecturer in philanthropic management at the Université de Montréal. Since 2022, he has also chaired the National Advisory Committee of the Canada’s Volunteer Awards and sits on the Board of Trustees of the crown corporation, Ingenium Canada. Since 2023, he has also hosted the radio show Les Héros Anonymes, which spotlights little-known or little-funded organizations.
As a member of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and a person with a disability, he is a governor of Fondation Émergence, which fights homophobia and transphobia, and sits on the Accessibility committee of Élections Québec.
Identified as a young leader of the next generation in governance, he has completed university training in corporate governance at Université Laval, leading to the designation of Chartered Director (C.Dir. and ASC). He is also a member of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines (Certified Human Resources Professional) and holds CFRE credential.
