Ken Miller, CFRE
Ken Miller, CFRE is the president Denali FSP Fundraising and Grant Consultants, located in Anchorage, Alaska. After graduating from Dartmouth College, he began a long career in sales and management. In 2010 he was named the development director at a large local nonprofit located in Anchorage. After 4 years as a development professional, he began Denali FSP to consult on multi-channel sustainable fundraising for nonprofits in Alaska.
Ken founded Denali FSP Fundraising Consultants in 2014. It is a fundraising consulting firm that emphasis best practices sustainable fund development and works with nonprofits throughout the United States with an emphasis on Alaskan nonprofits. In 2021 the company expanded to offer grant writing, evaluation, reporting and management for Tribal entities, nonprofits, and villages throughout Alaska and the United States.
Denali FSP Fundraising and Grant Consultants works to model and train nonprofits to achieve sustainable fundraising results from multi-channels and especially individual giving. The firm also does trainings and seminars to groups concerning fundraising and development on subjects such as direct mail, online fundraising, and holiday campaigns, Federal and large foundation grants.
Ken is the past-president the Association of Fundraising Professionals Alaska Chapter and past president and founder of the Dartmouth Alumni Club of Alaska, past president of Anchorage Gateway Rotary, and is on the national committees for diversity and inclusion and finance for the Association of Fundraising Professionals Global.
In his free time Ken enjoys reading, lifting weights, biking, and traveling.
