Khaled Fasih, MBA

I'm having more than thirty years working experience in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom, including more than 25 years managerial experience in different senior positions, including more than 10 years in a senior Medical and Marketing director position in a AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals.

I joined Misr Elkheir Foundation, the leading NGO in Egypt in 2011, established the fundraising function, then led the marketing and PR functions as well as the Chief Philanthropy Officer since 2015. IN 2022 I have been managing the Innovations and Change management function of the foundation specially in Marketing and fundraising. I am currently the Fundraising & Marketing Director of the Egyptian Clothing Bank.

I have a medical degree from Cairo University. I also hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the American University in Cairo. I also have a degree in Clinical Nutrition from the National Nutrition Institute in Egypt.

I am the President of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) USA for Egypt and MENA region. I also served a s a member of the BOD Nominating Committee three terms 2017-2020. I am a member of the AFP Strategic Planning Committee 2023-2025. I am also a board member of the Egyptian Food Bank.

Having worked in Saudi Arabia, UK and working with AFP colleagues, gave me a huge experience in dealing with diverse and multi-cultured organization. I like new challenges and I am highly interested in contributing to the AFP global Board of Directors.

I can honestly say that I’m very mission driven, results-oriented, high achiever, creative, and an inspiring leader. I have a great passion towards improving people’ quality of life. I’m also optimistic, enthusiastic, and very outgoing and excellent communicator.
