(Arlington, Virginia) The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), the world's largest community of charitable fundraisers, is pleased to announce that it will continue its strategic partnership with DonorSearch, a leading prospect research provider that empowers nonprofits of all sizes and sectors to strengthen their financial capacity.

DonorSearch will serve as a Development Partner with AFP in supporting the association’s mission to uphold and advance ethical and effective fundraising and ensure that all fundraisers have the skills and knowledge to help create an impact in communities around the world. Through the partnership, DonorSearch will be providing educational content to AFP members so they can better reach out to and connect with donors, volunteers, and other supporters in a year of uncertainty defined by post-pandemic concerns, rising inflation, and decreasing consumer confidence.

“Donors are, of course, the key to charitable fundraising, and the more effectively charities can interact with, engage and inspire them, the more change and impact they will be able to create to transform our world for the better,” said Mike Geiger, MBA, CPA, president and CEO of AFP. “I know DonorSearch shares our vision and values, and our partnership with the company has already proved fruitful and beneficial for the AFP fundraising community. We look forward to working with DonorSearch to provide great educational resources to our members so they can better bring people together, raise more funds and improve the quality of life for all people.”

“There's no question that AFP is leading fundraisers in education and the understanding of using new technologies such as artificial intelligence,” said Sarah TeDesco, executive vice president and co-owner of DonorSearch. “Education and innovation are two of our most important core values at DonorSearch, and we are excited to partner with AFP to work toward these mutual goals.”

The AFP Partners Program provides participating organizations with year-round opportunities to engage the fundraising community and pursue corporate social responsibility through tangential support of their work causes.
