AFP Database Transition: Thanks for Your Patience

On March 7, AFP launched our new Salesforce-based membership database! For the most part, this transition has been a success, but with any major technology change comes a few bumps in the road, so I want to take a moment up front, to acknowledge those and to thank you for your patience.  Converting almost 30,000 members and their data, plus more than 15 years of other data, is a herculean task for sure, but one that was well overdue.

We know some of you have experienced difficulties joining/renewing, accessing chapter sites, registering for webinars, and logging into your AFP membership accounts. Please know that we are working on resolving lingering issues and getting back to anyone who reaches out for help, in a timely fashion. 

For the majority of members, however, you should have no trouble accessing your account once you have reset your account password. If you have not yet done so, please visit https://portal.afpglobal.org and click “Forgot Your Password”. Enter your AFP membership email address to receive a password reset link. 

Once your password is reset, you should once again have access to your membership account, as well as AFP Connect. If you are experiencing issues, please contact us at 800-666-3863 or afp@afpglobal.org. This new database will ultimately allow us to provide a better user experience for you as a member, and a fundraiser, so we appreciate your understanding while we get to that point. As always, we are in this together, as one community. Your support now will allow us to better support you, down the line.
