Josh Daniel is a Coach and Associate Principal consultant with Korn Ferry out of Austin, TX. Josh has been supporting the career coaching offering for AFP360 members and specializes in supporting members in job search strategy, navigating professional transitions, and career advancement. Josh’s career is supported by a Master’s Degree in Organizational Behavior studies and a professional certification in Executive Coaching from the University of Texas at Dallas.
Abbi Haggerty became Executive Director of Richmond Performing Arts Alliance (RPAA) in 2019 after returning to the organization as Director of Development in 2016. She previously held roles with RPAA in the development department, first in 2003 and later in 2011. With 18 years of nonprofit management and fundraising experience, Abbi began her career at VMFA and has since served in senior-level positions with the Partnership for Nonprofit Excellence and John Tyler Community College.
Abbi earned her bachelor’s degree in political science and history from Virginia Tech and her master’s degree and Ph.D. in public policy and administration (with a concentration in nonprofit management) from VCU. She teaches as an adjunct professor at University of Richmond in the master's of nonprofit studies program.
Abbi currently serves as President-Elect and Program Chair for the Board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP)-Central Virginia Chapter and is on the Emerging Leaders Task Force of AFP Global. She has researched turnover in the fundraising profession and presented at national conferences on nonprofit culture and employee retention.
Chessie (Biggam) Hayes, MPA, CFRE, CNP, Fundraising Consultant, has been an active member of the fundraising community and creates thoughtful, strategic plans to enhance donor engagement. She received the award for AFP International Outstanding Young Professionals, Memphis’ Top 20 Under 30, and Greater Memphis Chamber’s Young Memphis Class of 2020 award. She was previously a Director of Development for a local nonprofit in Memphis, Tennessee. She was an Adjunct Professor at the University of Memphis and taught Resource Development and Nonprofit Branding/ Storytelling. She serves as the President-Elect for AFP Memphis and on the Emerging Leaders Initiative, Membership Division, and Editorial Committee for AFP Global. She also has served as the Vice-President for the Grant Professional Association of the Mid-South. Chessie enjoys focusing on and speaking internationally about fundraising trends for young professionals working for the fundraising sector, millennial giving, and advocating for yourself for better employee benefits and being your own champion!
Chessie has a passion to help nonprofit organizations find fundraising professionals that can move their mission forward! She is passionate in her goal of surpassing her client’s expectations and assisting them with talent acquisition and career development.
