Presenters:
Anthony Petchel, MBA, CTP, CFRE, is the principal of 360Philanthropy and brings over 25 years of leadership experience in finance, fundraising, and strategic planning. He is an adjunct instructor at Portland State University, teaching finance and fund-development in the Masters of Public Administration program. Before transitioning to the nonprofit sector, Anthony spent over 16 years in commercial banking and finance. Anthony holds an MBA and degrees in Psychology and Sociology and has 30 years of nonprofit board service and is the current President of the Oregon SW Washington AFP chapter. Deborah Steinkopf, MSW, MPP, brings over 30 years of nonprofit executive leadership working for social change. She helped nonprofits increase organizational effectiveness and mission impact, in both salaried and consulting capacities. Deborah has conducted grant audits and deepened the grants strategy of 40 nonprofits. She has also worked on capital campaign teams to make the case to foundations and has helped raise millions in capital grants alternative education and affordable housing providers. Deborah has published articles in the Grant Professionals Association Journal. She has a Master’s in Social Work and a Master’s in Public Policy from SUNY Albany.
