Certificate in Planned Giving Management
The Certificate in Planned Giving Management, offered by the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, is a comprehensive program designed to equip fundraising professionals with the expertise needed to develop and manage effective planned giving programs. This certificate program covers a wide range of topics, from foundational principles to advanced strategies, ensuring participants gain a deep understanding of both the technical and nontechnical aspects of planned giving.
The Planned Giving Initiative (PGI) is offering partial tuition waivers for this certificate to the members of The Association for Fundraising Professionals (AFP), Council of Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), and the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners (CGP).
Tuition assistance is contingent on completion of all three courses:
- The first course partial tuition waiver would be about one-third of the cost of the course at $450.
- The second course partial tuition waiver would be for half of the total cost of the course at $650.
- The third course partial tuition waiver would be for two-thirds of the cost of the course at $900.
These waivers combined total $2,000. Based on a course cost of approximately $1,300 each, the tuition waivers would cover half of the tuition for the entire program.
