AFP ON, Ontario Carleton University Collegiate Chapter

The Association of Fundraising Professionals Carleton Collegiate Chapter is the second Canadian collegiate chapter. It was founded in January of 2016 by philanthropical-minded young people. We recognized a need in our philanthropic ecosystem to provide high-quality professional development opportunities to young people either currently engaged in, looking to become engaged in, or wanting to improve their skills in fundraising. We host high quality educational events, provide members of our chapter with a professional mentor, visit charities and nonprofits of varying sizes and purposes, and also work to put the “fun” back into fundraising with social events and networking opportunities. We’re working hard to develop the next generation of leaders in the fundraising profession, and welcome you to be a part of that vision with us.
