The updated AFP Code of Ethical Standards has been released. Join us in celebrating Ethics Awareness Month and #ModernizingEthicalFundraising!

AFP's updated Code of Ethical Standards and the new Member Code of Conduct are now available to read here on the AFP website. The codes will go into effect on January 1, 2025.

VIEW THE NEW CODE OF ETHICS VIEW THE NEW MEMBER CODE OF CONDUCT

Any members who join or renew between October 1, 2024 and January 1, 2025, will be required to read and agree to the codes during the renewal/join process. The codes will still become enforceable on January 1, 2025, even for members who have already signed the codes prior to this date. Any violations during this period, will be enforced via the prior code.
From January 1, 2025 onward, any member who has not already signed the codes, will be prompted to sign them upon logging into the website for the first time in the new year.
